We went on a Sunday night to avoid crowds. Tons of open camping spots, so we had pretty much a whole lot to ourselves! Lots of bullfrogs in the little ponds on the property, so it was really peaceful listening to them croak all night. The Greenhouse is awesome!! After spending the day at the Dunes, being able to drink a beer and float in warm water was so relaxing. 21+ So we didn't have to deal with all the kids running around screaming in the main pool. Floors were really slippery, so be careful of that. Not a lot of people were there, so we got to soak in the tubs privately and swim in the pool with plenty of space. We weren't expecting this to be so nice and relaxing, well worth it!

This is without a doubt one of those don’t miss places. The facility was super clean, immaculately kept, and well thought out. The staff starting with Mike and on down were THE most friendly and helpful ever! Awesome adventure. Thank you Sand Dunes Pool!

Uh-mazing place. I was visiting family and we came out for the day to enjoy the natural hot springs water. I can't review the outdoor pool because I spent my day inside the indoor Greenhouse. There are several pools inside all with varying temperatures. It's full of pretty plants (that are labeled) and it has a nice tropical vibe in there. All the staff we came across were so friendly and definitely liked working there.

Had to change my review due to establishment's owner petty attitude. Quarter showers and laundry facilities are nice but owner doesn't want anyone other than campers using them. If you are a local then if you pay for a 20 minute shower you had better be done in 10 because anything longer than what the owner feels like he is giving you will only provoke his insecurities that he is being taken advantage of and he will threaten to revoke his grace to everyone because of one person. After speaking with him he pretty much conveyed that his main point was that locals can't spend enough money to make it worth his while of seeing them at his business more than he cares to have them there, and he really doesn't want them there at all. Which is odd when tourist, hunting and camping seasons are slow one would think that he would be more appreciate of and desire more business from locals.

My suggestion for locals is to spend your money elsewhere for anything this place offers so that you don't have to be subject to being disrespected for doing business with this guy.

The employees there are great people but even they can't compensate for a bad owner that would damage his own business and put them all out of work just so a little man can feel like a big one by being a rude, disrespectful, disingenuous, petty, unjust, prick.

I thought the pools were very nice and the proprietors obviously put a lot of work into this place (continuously) to make it a good experience for people visiting.

The Greenhouse is adults only and serves snacks, beer, and wine. It's a definite must for a relaxing day. It started pouring rain outside and it was so cool to float around in the big pool while it was just raining cats and dogs outside. We did end up having to get out of the pools for a bit because of some lightning, but it's for safety, so it was no big deal. Out by the regular pool is a nice place to order pretty decent food and drinks so you can make a day of your trip.

I bought the one day admission, but memberships are available for locals. It was so great, just don't go telling everybody, because darn it, I don't want to fight a crowd for a good lounge chair next time I visit!

My kids were actually able to dive of the diving boards there because it wasn't over-regulated. I felt that they were safe though because I was there watching them. I watched them learn to swim before my eyes and they had a ball!

My suggestion for travelers, campers & hunters is to go to another camping site (like the UFO Watchtower which is way cheaper) then if you want hot springs go to one or more of the many other local ones. Please don't encourage the owner of this establishment to stay in business when all he cares about in relation to his own business are the opportunities it provides him to disrespectfully regard others.

Also, the place no longer offers Wi-Fi access, free or pay access because the owner doesn't want people using it as a reason to be there regardless of how much money they may spend there while online.
