Friendly staff, large tasty sandwiches, and ice cream to go when the restaurant is open.
Our car broke down in front of their cafe on a Saturday. They were super friendly about it, and even helped us find a mechanic. We had the yummy 50/50 burgers while we were waiting.
After the sand dunes, kids were hungry and cranky. Despite being the only ones there during odd hours, we received great service. Food was high quality and fairly priced. We plan to visit Great Sand Dunes again, and will certainly make Hooper Junction part of the trip.
The BLT is fantastic, large portion but save room for pie. Staff is friendly and welcoming.
